SAMPLER AND SHOW-N-SHARE

The first Sampler class for the Month of April was held this past Saturday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Above, Chris shows us samples of the block we will be working on this month.
It is always a joy to meet with this group because they have such wonderful completed projects for show-n-share.  Above Julie shows us her completed quilt of last year’s Sampler.  Great job!
Julie also showed us this darling table topper.
Melanie made this beautiful quilt.  The pattern is called Fireworks.
Judy showed us this fantastic Quilt of Valor.  What a wonderful cause to contribute to.
And look at the label she has attached.  Go to the QOV website to learn requirements for making a quilt and about the label.  Check it out!
Julie made this cute little table topper from left over fabrics!  My kind of gal!
Mary made this handsome quilt which will be donated to Hospice.  She said it is a real man’s quilt.
Check out the back of Mary’s quilt!  Yes, a real man’s quilt!
Last year Cathy participated in the Women of Courage BOM.  This is her finished quilt.  I always thought quilts of this era were a little drab, but look at the beautiful colors in this quilt!  Gorgeous!
Cathy also made this striking quilt.  She said that lately she has been drawn to those teal colored fabrics.
Cathy also made this stunning quilt.  I think she said it is for her daughter.  Don’t you just love all the colors in it!

ON ANOTHER NOTE: Art Gallery Fabrics has a tutorial for a Prism Jumbo Floor Pillow.  Check it out!

Until next time,

Stay Calm! Stay Kind! Stay Positive!

Generosity has no bounds. Above are the women in the Quilts For Kids group at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Left to right, Henrietta, Phyllis, Nancy, Carol, Karen. These women donate their time, fabric, money once a month to make quilts for kids who have cancer.
